Sometimes it’s the sky. Sometimes it’s a tiny detail. Sometimes it’s a bird with an attitude.

A sunset caught in a car mirror, its warm colours surrounded by deep blues and shadows. Two birds lining up to look like one. A small change of position that lets the sunlight through. I enjoy finding different ways to see familiar things—and taking photographs that make you look twice.

I’m autistic, and I often feel like I’m on the outside looking in. The world can move quickly, and keeping up with its pace and making sense of it isn’t always easy for me. I notice small details that others might pass by. Photography gives me time to pause, be in the moment and explore those details in my own way. It lets me share something of how I see the world.

This portfolio brings together my favourite photographs and experiments with light, perspective and editing. I’m still learning and discovering what I can create.
